After they got engaged and were chatting wedding plans, I was so pumped when they asked if we’d be willing to travel to Destin, FL for their wedding. I’ve been hinting (okay… begging) for someone to take me along for a beach wedding forever, and my wish was finally granted! And let me tell you, it truly was the most perfect beach wedding.

Some wedding days simply feel like magic from the moment you step onto the property, and this one was no exception. The Lodge at Camp Red Cedar continues to be one of my favorite venues for so many reasons.

This fall has been an especially warm one, and since I’m always cold, I have absolutely no complaints. Nick and Maddy’s wedding day was one of the warmest yet, and it couldn’t have been more beautiful. The day was filled with crisp blue skies, big fluffy clouds, and the prettiest golden light that made everything around them glow.

From the very first time I met Logen and Sydney at their engagement session, I knew I was going to love working with them. Their love for the outdoors and shared passion for adventure instantly stood out, and it was clear they were the kind of couple who bring joy everywhere they go.

For their engagement session, Blake and Melanie brought the absolute best energy — so much laughter, easy smiles, and a whole lot of joy. The sweetest surprise? They brought along the cutest little addition for a few photos (you’ll have to scroll to see who stole the spotlight!).

It’s hard to believe how much time has passed. I’m not exactly sure how old Jacob was when I first started dating his brother, Tim—maybe...

From the moment they arrived, it was nonstop laughter, sweet stories, and so much love in the air. These two are completely at ease with each other—playful, kind, and full of joy—and it made for the dreamiest session.

Here’s just a little glimpse into their gorgeous celebration… I’m so excited for these two and honored to have played a small part in such a big moment in their lives.
