Last weekend, I had the privilege of traveling out of state to one of my absolute favorite places, Tennessee. And while I will never take for granted the opportunity to photograph weddings close to home, there is something so special about getting to travel somewhere new, explore a beautiful location, and document a love story along the way.

Some wedding days just feel joyful from the moment you arrive, and Cormack and Margaret’s September wedding at Camp Lakota in Defiance, Ohio was absolutely one of those days. The sun was shining, the weather was perfect, and Camp Lakota created such a beautiful and whimsical setting for their celebration. From the natural surroundings to the vibrant colors woven throughout the day, everything came together in a way that felt completely them.

There’s something special about returning to a venue you know and love, and Crystal Fountain Park is one of those places for me.
