Jordan & Darcy’s Wedding at Weller Farms | Northwest Ohio Wedding Photographer

Darcy and Jordan have been in several wedding parties I’ve photographed over the last few years, so getting to finally have them in front of my camera for their own wedding day was extra special.
They said “I do” surrounded by their closest family and friends during a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Weller Farms in Northwest Ohio. And while the sound of thunder and the threat of rain hung around in the background, it didn’t stop these two from walking down the aisle with huge smiles on their faces.
And honestly, that pretty much sums up their entire day.
Wedding days don’t always go exactly according to plan. Sometimes the weather changes, timelines shift, or you have to make a quick decision in the moment. Jordan and Darcy handled every bit of it with so much patience and trust.
Even when the rain started falling, they stayed calm, enjoyed their day and trusted the process — and it paid off with some absolutely gorgeous wedding photos.
I also have to give a HUGE shoutout to their bridal party, who stood out in the rain for photos not once... but twice! They were such a fun, supportive group and truly helped make the entire day so enjoyable.
Getting to spend a wedding day with not only my couples, but also the people who mean the most to them, is something I’ll never take for granted.
There is so much more to wedding photography than the big, perfectly posed moments.
It’s the laughter between best friends.
The hugs from family.
The tears you didn’t expect.
The way your person looks at you when no one else is paying attention.
The little details you spent months choosing.
Those are the pieces that come together to tell the story of your wedding day.
My goal as a wedding photographer is always to give you a gallery that allows you to look back years from now and not just remember what your wedding looked like — but remember exactly how it felt.
Jordan and Darcy’s Weller Farms wedding was filled with exactly that: laughter, love, a little rain, a lot of trust and some truly beautiful moments.
