Jaxon & Gabi’s Romantic September Wedding in Woodburn, Indiana and Hicksville, Ohio

There is something extra special about photographing a wedding for a couple who has already spent years growing up and growing together. Jaxon and Gabi have been together since high school, and on the most beautiful September day, they finally got to step into their next chapter as husband and wife.

Their wedding day felt intentional from beginning to end. Instead of a large bridal party, Jaxon and Gabi chose to keep things simple and meaningful, with Gabi’s sister and Jaxon’s brother standing beside them. I absolutely loved this choice. It kept the focus on the people closest to them and gave the entire day such a relaxed, intimate feel.

Their ceremony took place at the beautiful Zion Lutheran Church in Woodburn, Indiana. Surrounded by their family and friends, Jaxon and Gabi exchanged vows and officially became husband and wife.

After the ceremony, everyone headed to Barn on Nye in Hicksville, Ohio for their reception. It was the perfect setting to celebrate these two. From the beautiful country atmosphere to a room filled with the people they love most, it was exactly the kind of evening a September wedding deserves.

One of my favorite parts of wedding photography is getting to document more than just how a day looked. I want my couples to be able to look back and remember how it felt. The anticipation before the ceremony. The little glances. The laughter. The hugs from family. The quiet moments in between everything else. And, of course, that feeling of finally getting to call the person you’ve loved for years your husband or wife.

Jaxon and Gabi, thank you for trusting me to photograph such an important chapter in your story. It was such a privilege to celebrate alongside you and document the beginning of your marriage. I hope these photographs always take you right back to that perfect September day.
