Kyler & Emily | A Beautiful June Wedding at Crystal Fountain Park

There are some couples you meet and instantly feel connected to, and that was exactly the case with Kyler and Emily.

From the moment I met them, I absolutely adored them. Their soft personalities, kind hearts, and genuine smiles have a way of lighting up every room they walk into. I had actually heard about Kyler for years while working as a therapist alongside his mom many years ago. Fast forward to today, and seeing the incredible young man he has become was such a full circle moment. To say I was honored to capture his wedding day would be an understatement.

One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer is getting to preserve moments that would otherwise fade with time. Some moments are obvious...the first kiss, the first dance, the joyful celebration with family and friends. But some of the most meaningful moments are the quiet ones happening in the background. A proud parent wiping away a tear. A grandparent watching from the pews. A glance exchanged between newlyweds when no one else is looking. Those are the moments that tell the true story of a wedding day, and I never take for granted the privilege of documenting them.

Kyler and Emily were blessed with one of the most beautiful June days imaginable. The sunshine was perfect, the weather couldn't have been better, and they were surrounded by the people who love them most. They exchanged vows in their hometown Lutheran church, creating a meaningful and intimate ceremony that reflected who they are as a couple.

Following the ceremony, everyone gathered to celebrate at Crystal Fountain Park, one of my favorite wedding venues in Northwest Ohio. The venue offers beautiful scenery, incredible reception spaces, and some of the most stunning evening light for portraits. It is truly a photographer's dream.

Throughout the day, there was an overwhelming sense of joy. Family and friends laughed together, shared stories, danced the night away, and celebrated the beginning of a beautiful marriage. These are the kinds of wedding days that remind me why I love what I do.

If you know me, you know I never pass up the opportunity for a sunset session before I leave the reception. It's one of my favorite parts of the day because it allows couples a few quiet moments together after the excitement of the ceremony and reception. As the evening came to a close, we stepped away for a few minutes while the sun dipped low over the fields surrounding Crystal Fountain Park.

Kyler and Emily, thank you for trusting me to capture one of the most important days of your lives. It was an honor to celebrate alongside you, document your story, and preserve these memories for generations to come. I am so excited to see where this next chapter takes you both.
