Nick & Maddy - The Lodge at Camp Red Cedar | Fort Wayne Wedding Photographer

This fall has been an especially warm one, and since I’m always cold, I have absolutely no complaints. Nick and Maddy’s wedding day was one of the warmest yet, and it couldn’t have been more beautiful. The day was filled with crisp blue skies, big fluffy clouds, and the prettiest golden light that made everything around them glow.

Not only were we there to celebrate Nick and Maddy and their beautiful wedding day, but also to honor another huge accomplishment ... the bride and several of her guests had just passed the bar earlier that week! It was such a joy to celebrate both occasions and such a breath of fresh air to witness so much happiness in one day.

From the moment I met Nick and Maddy last fall for their engagement session, I knew I was going to love being a part of their wedding. They are so kind, easygoing, and joyful together, and their love shines in every photo. The Lodge at Camp Red Cedar in Fort Wayne was the perfect setting for them. Surrounded by nature, open skies, and a peaceful atmosphere that fit their personalities perfectly. It offered everything you could hope for in a fall wedding venue: a beautiful outdoor ceremony space, natural scenery, and plenty of golden light.

Every part of their day felt genuine and full of love. From their heartfelt vows to the laughter shared with their family and bridal party, it was such a privilege to capture those moments for them. I’m always so thankful when couples trust me to tell their story through my lens. Wedding photography isn’t just about the pictures for me, it’s about preserving memories that will be cherished for generations.

A huge thank you to both of their families and their amazing bridal party for being so kind and wonderful to work with. You all helped make the day go so smoothly and made it such a joy to capture from start to finish.
