Another Perfect Wedding at The Lodge at Camp Red Cedar
Some wedding days simply feel like magic from the moment you step onto the property, and this one was no exception. The Lodge at Camp Red Cedar continues to be one of my favorite venues for so many reasons. It's bright, open spaces, the effortless flow from indoors to outdoors, and of course, that breathtaking landscape. In the fall, the fields glow with warm golden tones, creating the dreamiest backdrop for sunset portraits. It’s one of those places where every direction you turn feels photo-ready.
Brandon and Briana chose this beautiful setting for their small, intimate Thursday wedding, surrounded by the people they love most. From the second I walked in, I knew the evening was going to be special. Their décor was stunning!! Thoughtful, cohesive, and full of personality. Every detail looked like it could’ve been pulled straight from a magazine spread, yet it still felt deeply personal to who they are.
And then there was them. Briana walked down the isle in a boho-inspired lace gown that couldn’t have been more perfect for the venue’s warm, rustic elegance. The intricate lace, the effortless movement, the way it caught the light, it brought the entire aesthetic together. Brandon complemented her beautifully in a crushed velvet suit that added a rich, yet fun and energetic vibe. Together, they were truly a vision.
The entire evening felt relaxed, joyful, and full of genuine connection. Watching their families mingle, laugh, and celebrate such a meaningful moment reminded me why I love photographing intimate weddings so much. There’s room to breathe, to feel, to really soak in every second.
Brandon and Briana, thank you for trusting me to capture your day. It was an absolute dream from start to finish, and I’m so grateful I got to witness the beginning of this next chapter for the two of you.
