Blake & Melanie’s Engagement Session

It’s such a surreal feeling when life comes full circle. Our family used to attend the same church as Blake when he was just a little boy. Fast forward a few years, and now I have the privilege of photographing his wedding!


For their engagement session, Blake and Melanie brought the absolute best energy — so much laughter, easy smiles, and a whole lot of joy. The sweetest surprise? They brought along the cutest little addition for a few photos (you’ll have to scroll to see who stole the spotlight!).


We spent the afternoon exploring together, capturing their genuine connection in the most fun, lighthearted way. You can tell within minutes of meeting them that they’re perfect for each other — the kind of couple who can make even a quiet moment feel full of warmth.


I’m already counting down the days until their summer wedding at Woodburn and Crystal Fountain Park next year. If their engagement session was any indication, it’s going to be one incredible celebration filled with laughter, love, and a whole lot of happily ever after.
